War Scars

I created this back in October for a art contest my teacher suggested for me to take part in. This was a specific contest for a day in November called Remembrance Day where we remember fallen soldiers. This touches very close to home since my grandfather had fought in WWII. I honestly didn't take it that seriously and debated even submitting it, yet my teacher insisted that I do. I did so, and actually won second place in the competition for people in the senior category (Grade 10-12). I was awarded a plaque, money, and other things for my win. Now that I look back on it, I'm a little prouder of the effort I put into it.
